The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting thousands of people across the country to assist with the 2020 Census count. Temporary jobs available include census takers, recruiting assistants, office staff, and supervisory staff. Positions for the 2020 Census are located throughout the United States. To be eligible, one must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Social Security number, and be a U.S. citizen. Applicants must complete an online job application—2020census.gov/jobs. The application includes assessment questions about one’s education, work and other experience and the process takes about 30 minutes. Applicants need to provide Social Security number, home address, phone number, and date and place of birth.
